Mixed media assemblage . . . 30x30x4cm Tori studied at NAS and later earned a Master in Creative Arts at Wollongong University. Apart from her many exhibitions in Australia and inclusion in various state gallery collections, Tori has exibited & been collected overseas after her inclusion in the 13th International Tapestry Biennale in Switzerland. Tori received a grant from the Australia Council for the Arts to travel with her work and do a study tour in the UK, USA and Europe. Now, Tori lives at 'Callemondah', her family home where her mother, the Australian sculptor May Barrie produced her large stone works. 'Callemondah' has become an instition in the Illawarra arts scene, where Tori gives regular workshops with her students and several women stone workers use May's facilities to carve large sculptures. Tori takes tours of this magical property which reflects the hands of 2 generations of artists in its buildings, its gardens, its art collection and the gallery which show Tori's work, other artworks and sculptures to the public by appointment. https://www.callemondahstudios.org/tori-de-mestre
